The cost depends on system size, your roof, and whether you add a battery. A typical residential solar power system on the Central Coast is eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which are applied as an upfront discount at the point of sale, reducing what you pay. We provide a fixed, written quote after a free on-site assessment, so there are no surprises. Finance options including ZIP Money are available.
Most residential solar power installations are completed in one day. Larger systems, commercial installations, or combined solar and battery installs may take one to two days.
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program has been available since July 2025. Eligible households and small businesses can access up to 30 percent off the cost of installing a small-scale solar battery, up to a maximum federal rebate of $3,720 on a 10 kWh battery system. That works out to up to $372 per kilowatt-hour of usable battery capacity before administration fees. Solahart Central Coast will confirm your eligibility and apply the rebate to your quote.
